Mr. Su Van, TRAN received his B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from University of Technology - VNU, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (1981-1986), and his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand (1993-1994).

He was the Vice chair of Department of Telecommunication Engineering, University of Technology - VNU, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (1987-2008). He was the Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering, International University, Ho Chi Minh City from 2008 to 2018.

His research interests mainly focus on Method of Moments (MoM), Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD), Circularly polarized-wave antennas, Antennas with dielectric-coating, RFID
