Huỳnh Võ Trung Dũng

Huynh Vo Trung Dung was born in Vietnam, in 1987.  He obtained the bachelor degree in Telecommunications from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam in 2010. He received the master degree in information and mechatronics from the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea in 2012.  In consultation with Prof. Chang-Soo Park, his master research proposed a new method to reduce high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) by using the modified artificial bee colony algorithm for partial transmit sequence technique in coherent optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems under MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. In 2019, he obtained the Ph.D. degree with the Digital Communications Research Group, Department of Telecommunications and Information Processing, Faculty of Engineering, Ghent University, Belgium. His PhD research, under the supervision of Prof. Nele Noels and Prof. Heidi Steendam, focused on the analysis of the effect of time-interleaved analog-to-digital converter mismatches on bit error rate performance in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing systems. Currently, he works as a lecturer/researcher at International University – Vietnam National University, Vietnam.  His main research interests are in signal processing in communications, OFDM, system performance analysis, and time-interleaved analog-to-digital converter circuits.

His research resulted in two high-quality peer-reviewed journals. He also presented his research at 7 international conferences, and he received the 'Best Paper Award' at 25-th International Conference on Telecommunications in Saint Malo, France, 2018. His research was also given at 4 domestic conferences.
